The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is an international standard setting body made up of a number of different representatives from standards organisations world wide. Its purpose is to develop common standards in a number of different business aspects including areas such as quality, security, environmental management and social responsibility, amongst others. These standards are continuously developed to outline best practices for the area that each covers. ISO 9000 is the family of standards which cover different aspects of quality management. ISO 9001 covers the client focused aspect of quality, that is; ensuring that the client is provided the highest level of quality with regard to services and products that they receive.
At the end of October 2016, SwarmOnline was successful in achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification. This achievement demonstrates and reinforces our belief that our client’s satisfaction and expectations are the most important factor in all the work we carry out. We believe in Continuous Improvement and as such, our clients benefit from our consistent performance and assurance that their requirements are fully met. We are fully committed to a high standard and quality of work that we undertake for any project we carry out. For SwarmOnline, there are a number of solid reasons why we believe that achieving this certification is important.

Should we receive comments from a client, for example, our QMS is able to guide us through the process of taking that information and folding it into our business, so that it enhances the services we provide, and in a timely manner.
We are able to work seamlessly with our suppliers and clients that have already achieved a 9001 certification. This is extremely beneficial to all parties as it ensures that the quality of the products and services is conserved across all stages of the project lifecycle. Our approach ensures that our client’s commitment to quality is never compromised as a result of our interaction with them.

We at Swarm are exceptionally proud of our achievement in the ISO 9001:2015 certification standard. However, we’re not resting on this achievement and in our continuing endeavours to improve, we’re now focusing on ISO 27001:2013 certification. This standard looks at security techniques within Information Technology systems; high compliance and data security is another key factor in our internal and external operations and projects which we find gives our customers the satisfaction and results they have come to know and expect of us all here at SwarmOnline.
