Swarm Earn Top 10 Finish in Sencha Touch Mobile App Contest

In October, developers were invited to submit applications created using Sencha Touch. Three weeks later, a judging panel of Sencha community members and employees selected 10 finalists from the more than 200 entries coming from across the globe.

SwarmOnline’s Prop.erti.es app was chosen as one of the 10 finalists in the Sencha Touch Mobile App contest, out of over 200 entries coming from developers all over the world, as Sencha launched the brand new Mobile Application Development Framework.

The application allows users to find properties for sale or rent using a number of innovative search methods, including using their current GPS location and by drawing a search area onto a map alongside the traditional address and postcode searches, to allow full control over the results returned. The application also allows user to favourite properties so they can return later to view them quickly.

The Top 10 position in the contest marks a successful first foray into the mobile application market for SwarmOnline and will continue with the planned launch of the application into the major App Stores in the near future.
